The ATLCGA, through involvement with the CCGA Best Practices Committee, has assisted in developing a national framework for Damage Prevention Best Practices. This is part of an ongoing effort to develop new practices, as well as improve existing ones.
The latest version of the CCGA Best Practices (v 3.0) is available for free download in both English and French.
Training Programs ATLCGA Members offer
Atlantic Canada Common Ground Alliance (ATLCGA) does not endorse one specific education, training, or certification program and is not responsible for the outcome of any program. The ATLCGA recommends researching all available training options before selecting a program that meets your regional and facility requirements. Please note, some training providers offer courses designed to assess and/or improve the competency of underground facility locators and ground disturbers (excavators).
The following list is not all inclusive as there may be other locator and ground disturbance training providers available across Atlantic Canada. If you are a member training organization and would like to include a training program on this list of resources email info@atlaticdigsafe.ca
